Will Sandy Leon get another hit this year?

The Braves fished Sandy Leon out of the Mexican League in the wake of injuries to their catchers. He got a hit in his first start. He got a hit in his second start. He has no hits since. He has no walks since. The Braves didn’t get him to hit, but his .064 wOBA and .113 xwOBA are in a remedial class of their own. It’s been 11 straight games with a -100 wRC+.

While Drake Baldwin may return relatively soon, it’s unclear whether that will portend the end of Leon’s time with the Braves, or whether Chadwick Tromp will be the roster casualty. So, Leon may have an extended leash on trying to get another hit. Or, not.

Will the o-fer extend through his Braves tenure?
