Wisconsin Badgers get surprising College Football Playoff prediction

It has been a while since the Wisconsin Badgers have had legitimate College Football Playoff hype. Suddenly, that could change this season, at least according to one national writer.

In the Athletic's preseason College Football Playoff predictions, Manny Navarro projected Wisconsin to finish the season ranked No. 16 in the final CFP rankings. Navarro gave the Badgers a projected 9-3 record, putting them among a group of teams he believes will enter the season unranked but finish with a spot in the final CFP poll.
