WMU fans react to controversial call in game against Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Western Michigan football fans are lamenting a devastating loss, as the Big Ten Conference defends a controversial officiating decision that likely cost the Broncos their first-ever win over the University of Michigan Saturday night. 

"It wasn't a robbery," a fan told News 8 in downtown Grand Rapids Sunday morning. "It was a sacrifice. Western was sacrificed for the sake of Michigan."
