WNBA turns in best regular-season viewership since 2000

The WNBA can't be stopped. In the first year of a new media deal, the league posted its best regular-season viewership numbers since 2000, according to Sports Business Journal.

Regular-season WNBA games averaged 771,000 viewers during the 2026 season, up 17 percent compared to last year. A total of 51 games hit 1 million viewers, 18 games topped 1.5 million and nine games came in with 2 million viewers.
