There are likely many of us who fondly remember Lincoln Kennedy dominating opponents during his time at UW and today his son Tye has committed and is looking forward to continuing the Kennedy legacy on Montlake.

The Recruitment: It isn't often that the son of a legend goes seemingly under the radar for as long as Tye did, but once his early junior season film began circulating, the offers quickly followed. Kennedy took four official visits to Stanford, Utah, Michigan, and UW respectively. Despite his dad attending UW, it was no slam dunk that he would commit there. Utah had been recruiting him a long time and that also continued with the coaching staff that would then move to Michigan. In the end, Tye's heart lead him back to Montlake to continue the family legacy.
