The Boston Red Sox have faced New York Yankees ace Cam Schlittler three times in his young career, and all three games have gone poorly for the Red Sox.

The AL Cy Young candidate held the Red Sox to one run on four hits and one walk with five strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings, lowering his career ERA against them to 0.83.
Schlittler has dominated almost everyone since making his Major League debut last year, but Boston's been particularly helpless against him, managing just two earned runs off him in 21 2/3 innings.
The 25-year-old's success against the Red Sox is even more painful given that he's a Massachusetts native who played college ball at Northeastern.
It started last October, when Schlittler essentially ended Boston's season with eight shutout innings in Game 3 of the AL Wild Card Round. His first career start at Fenway Park in April brought more of the same with eight strong innings.

Boston won't see him again until late June at the earliest, so its lineup still has some time to figure out why Schlittler has their number.
