Yankees’ Giancarlo Stanton update includes snippy response from Aaron Boone

CHICAGO — Four hours before game time Wednesday, a Yankees player dressed in a Yankee Stadium fan giveaway this season, a sleeveless No. 27 Giancarlo Stanton basketball jersey, did some jogging on the outfield warning track at Rate Field.

It was reliever Fernando Cruz, not the Yankees' injured designated hitter, who is in Chicago for this week's series against the White Sox and Cubs.
