Yankton, Pierre preparing for warm temperatures Friday

YANKTON, S.D. (KELO) — Football and hot weather like we are expecting across KELOLAND on Friday night do not mix very well, as such many high schools have changed their approach to this week's games because of it.

The Pierre Governors won the state title from the Yankton Bucks last year, 56-35, but both these teams have started this season 1-0 after Pierre dominated Sturgis Brown 42-6, while Yankton posted a blowout win of their own against Aberdeen Central 48-11.
